Our take

Most block sets are a box of cubes. This one is designed in stages: the early play is simple posting and stacking, and the later play is bridges, marble runs, and pretend cityscapes the same child returns to at four. The wood is heavy enough to feel serious and the storage box is part of the toy. It is expensive for blocks, and it is also the set still in rotation three years later.
